Welcome to our new Premier Partner - Edinburgh Technopole

29th April 2021

Edinburgh Technopole is delighted and proud to be joining the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce as Premier Partners

Edinburgh Technopole is a unique science and business park, specifically designed to offer the flexibility required by new, growing and established companies.

Our site is one of the key areas fostering growth and innovation within Midlothian, with companies at the cutting edge of science and technology operating within the park.

With a strong established scientific community that is growing significantly, Edinburgh Technopole has the complete support network in place for any business.

Set amongst 126 acres of stunning mature parkland in the Bush Estate near Penicuik and at the foothills of the Pentland Hills, Edinburgh Technopole hosts beautiful grounds and paths, These are frequently used by our cycling and walking clubs, or by those working on site who simply want to get some fresh air during a busy day.

The park offers a wealth of flexible offices, product development space and facilities for high specification laboratories, all with generous parking provision, charging points for electric cars and excellent transport links.

Three newly refurbished offices in the out-buildings of 19th century manor, Bush House, are surrounded by a cluster of innovative high-growth companies.

In studies conducted across the UK, people have consistently highlighted their preference for a hybrid of home and office work after the pandemic. Office spaces like Edinburgh Technopole situated outwith larger cities are the ideal environment to provide a better work-life balance for staff.

Companies already in the Edinburgh Technopole cluster include Cambrex and Almac Sciences and veterinary science company BioBest Laboratories, as well as Xilinx, TomTom Software along with further innovative high-tech companies in other parts of the Bush Estate.

We are proud to be part of the dynamic international network ‘We Are Pioneer Group’, which focuses not only on offering purpose-built spaces designed for innovation in science and technology, but also on supporting an ecosystem that helps the parks’ tenants raise investment, attract talent and maintain and expand their presence.

We look forward to engaging with the MELCC community and working with members to ensure that Midlothian builds on its reputation as not only a hub for science and innovation, but as an office hub that offers wonderful work-life balance.

Please get in contact if you would like more information about the office spaces available at Edinburgh Technopole and we look forward to meeting many of you soon.
