Vouchers are helping many to get superfast speeds
21st January 2021
The Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme (SBVS) provides up to £5,000 to install new faster broadband if you are in an area where traditional fibre broadband is not available. Alternatively, if fibre broadband is on the horizon after December 2021 through the Scottish Government’s Reaching 100% Programme, you may be eligible for an interim voucher of up to £400 to access better speeds while you’re waiting for your superfast connection.
Wellwood Communications are a Registered Supplier for the Scottish Broadband Voucher Scheme and have been providing 4G solutions for businesses and homes who are experiencing poor or slow broadband speeds.
Vikki Westwood, Director of Wellwood Communications commented “We are delighted to be a Registered Supplier for SBVS. This funding is available with support from the Scottish Government and we are working with Digital Scotland to roll out our solution as quickly as possible. In the current lockdown where home working is a necessity for people, we are able to offer a solution to provide superfast speeds even in the remotest of areas.”
Following a recent installation of 4G at Ovenstone 109 Ltd, Nick Fleming, Managing Director commented “The service provided by Wellwood Communications has been exemplary. From the outset they have been professional, prompt and extremely helpful. My business now has a reliable and comprehensively fast broadband connection which to date has been faultless.”
