Streets Ahead Social Welcomes First Intern

Social media consultant and prolific social networker, Dane Thomson is thrilled to announce the appointment of his first intern, Denis Busuioc to join his fast-growing social media consultancy, Streets Ahead Social.

Denis joins Streets Ahead Social from Queen Margaret University where he is currently completing his PR and Media Honours Degree. He will undertake a 10-week placement as a Video Marketing intern under the wing of Streets Ahead Social’s Managing Director, Dane Thomson.

Sharing his delight about Denis joining Streets Ahead Social for the next 10 weeks, Dane said: “I am thrilled to welcome Denis as my first intern to join Streets Ahead Social. During his interview, Denis really impressed me with his interest and enthusiasm for Streets Ahead Social, his impressive CV and his eye-catching portfolio. As a QMU graduate myself, it feels wonderful to give back and play a small yet significant part in helping Denis gain the industry experience he needs to complement his studies.”

Speaking about undertaking his internship with Streets Ahead Social, Denis said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Streets Ahead Social for the next 10 weeks. I am excited to be applying the learnings from my PR and Media studies in the workplace. I can’t wait to get started.”

Sharing support on social media for this internship, Queen Margaret University Senior Lecturer and PR Programmes Leader, Ann Turner said: “Great news Dane at Streets Ahead Social and congrats to Denis. I hope it all goes really well. I will be watching out for some new videos hitting our newsfeeds soon.”
